Celebrity Guest Authors

Chris Hillman - Revered by rock fans not only for his rock-solid bass playing in the Byrds but also for his membership in The Flying Burrito Brothers, McGuinn, Clark and Hillman, and the Desert Rose Band, Hillman graciously provided some of his reminiscences for Fab Four FAQ. Come by and see what he's up to.

Jackie Lomax - As lead singer with The Undertakers, Jackie Lomax witnessed the Beatles history from Day One, playing the same club circuit throughout Liverpool and Hamburg. He stayed a confidant during the Fabs meteoric rise; later, Jackie became the first act signed to the fledgling Apple label.

Through a succession of releases on Apple, Capitol, and Warner Brothers, Jackie produced a fine body of work, as well as having his services tapped for a variety of other artists, including Jeff Beck and Bonnie Raitt. You can discover his colorful history as well as keep up with his current doings by visiting his site here.

Other Works by Robert Rodriguez

The 1950s' Most Wanted - Published as part of Potomac’s Most Wanted series of pop culture histories, the 1950s’ Most Wanted is an irreverent (if subversive) read. It runs the gamut of topics you’d expect to find - music, film, and TV - as well as things you might not: famous last words; gay or bi-stars; disasters; true crime.

You can read about the book, as well as web-exclusive chapters, at this site.
